1. Software License
By purchasing S7 Data Logger, the user obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the software on a limited number of PCs, according to the purchased plan.
The license is strictly personal and bound to the industrial environment declared at purchase.
2. Limitation of Liability
The software is provided "AS IS". S7 Data Logger does not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every specific PLC configuration.
The owner disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, consequential damages, or production losses arising from the use or inability to use the software.
The user is responsible for validating the software in test environments before deploying it in critical production.
3. Restrictions
The following is strictly prohibited:
- Reverse engineering, decompilation, modification of the source code (except for open source components under permissive licenses)
- Redistribution, leasing, or sublicensing of the software without written authorization
4. Support & Updates
Minor and major updates are included in the one-time license. Technical support is provided within the timeframes specified in the commercial plans.
The service does not include on-site interventions unless explicitly agreed in the Enterprise plan.
5. Refund Policy
A 15-day right of withdrawal is guaranteed from the date of purchase, provided the software has not been installed in production environments and the license has not been permanently activated.
6. Non-Affiliation Statement
S7 DATALOGGER is not affiliated with, approved by, or supported by Siemens AG. “S7” is a registered trademark of Siemens AG, used here only for descriptive purposes. All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
